Red Bicyclette Winery engaged MR. Rickshaw in the Fall of 2004 to help promote the nationwide launch of its brand of imported French table wines. A primary reason for using the pedicabs was to position the pedicabs with the Red Bicyclette message in the background of nationwide television shows taped in New York, such as CBS' The Early Show as seen below. |
| The intitial campaign went so well that Red Bicyclette used MR. Rickshaw during Bastille Day celebrations in 2005. This campaign included berets and shirts for the drivers who offered free rides from noted New York French Restaurants La Bonne Soup, Chez Josephine, and Paris Commune. |
